Craps bring out the worst and best aspect of a casino game. One good point of craps is the various wagers that players can choose from. Players can wager that the crapshooter will get the number seven on their dice throw or the shooter will get the point number before the number seven. Some of the other wagers in craps are the place wagers, hardway wagers, field wager, whirl wagers, horn wagers and others.
Each wager in the game has an equivalent hit, payout percentage and casino edge. Some of the wagers in the game that possess the best casino edge are the come bet (with the crapshooter) and the don't pass bet / don't come wager (or a bet against the crapshooter). These wagers have a 1.4 casino edge but different payouts.
A bet on the pass line during the first toss of the dice before the point number comes out will prosper if an 7/11 is the overall result of the dice toss and you will just throw away your money if the numbers two, three, twelve comes out. Any other digit will be considered as the point number. The point number is also known as the box numbers and these are the numbers four, five, six, eight, nine and ten.
A wager on the come area has a lot of similarities with the pass line wager but it is put down when a point number is already present in the pass line area. If the numbers seven or eleven comes out, then your wager will win in the game but if a two, three or twelve comes out in the game, it will lose in the game. If any other digit comes out of the game, the dealer will move the come bet on the square that features that digit.
If the number seven comes out in dice roll when there is already a come bet placed in the gaming layout, the come wager will win but the pass line wager and any come wagers that have already been place to a point digit will lose in the game. The worth of the bet on the pass and come area is known during the initial throw of the dice. Your bet will win if you achieve a 7/11 during the first toss of the dice and the opposite will happen if the numbers 2, 3 or even 12 pops out during the first toss of the dice in the game of craps. There are exactly 6 different ways to get a seven(1:6, 6:1, 2:5, 5:2, 3:4, 4:3) and two different ways to get an eleven(5:6, 6:5) for an overall total of eight different ways to win in the game. There is a single way to get a number two (1:1), there are two different ways to get a number three (1:2, 2:1) and a single way to get a number twelve (6:6) for an overall total of 4 ways to lose in the game. You will have 2:1 advantage. But once the point number comes out in the game, the casino will have more advantage compare to you. The do not pass wager and do not come wager functions in a similar manner like the pass wager and come wager.
On the initial roll, both the don't pass and don't come bet will not win if a 7/11 pops out during the first toss of the dice throw and will win if the opposite happens. If this wager is an exact opposite of the pass wager and come wager, the craps player will have an advantage, so to swing that advantage to the casino's benefit, the twelve appearing during the initial roll is considered as a push-which means that no player will win or lose.
